Your first home.
I help first-time home buyers in Ocean County navigate listings, showings, offers, and closings with structured, step-by-step guidance.
How it works, step by step
Buying your first home comes with a lot of decisions. Below is a high-level look at how the process typically unfolds.
Intro call or message
We begin with a brief orientation and review any initial broker and state disclosures. From there, we can talk about next steps before deciding how to move forward.
Get your search dialed in
We narrow down towns and property types, talk through tradeoffs, and set up a search based on the criteria we’ve discussed.
Tours & questions
We tour homes, discuss layout, condition, and resale considerations, and evaluate how each option aligns with your priorities.
Offer, negotiation & closing
When you’re ready to make an offer, I explain the structure, terms, and protections, then coordinate with the other side and your transaction professionals through closing.
Who I'm built to serve
My work is focused on buyers — especially first-time home buyers who value patience, clarity, and direct discussion of tradeoffs. I'm not focused on listings or seller-side marketing.
First-time buyers
You want to ask "obvious" questions without feeling judged.
Move-ins, not flippers
My focus is on buyers who plan to live in the home they purchase, rather than investment or flip scenarios.
Ocean County focus
I concentrate my work in and around Ocean County to stay familiar with local dynamics and inventory patterns.
Questions you might have
Do you charge me directly as the buyer?
Buyer compensation can vary based on the transaction and current rules and is always negotiable. Before you decide to sign any agreement related to representation or compensation, I’ll explain how compensation is handled so you can make an informed decision.
Are you taking on a lot of clients at once?
I’m intentional about how many active buyers I work with at a given time so I can give focused attention to each client.
Is this legal, financial, or tax advice?
No. I provide guidance related to real estate process, negotiation, and transaction context. Legal, financial, tax, and lending advice should come from the appropriate licensed professionals, such as an attorney, lender, or tax advisor.
Ready to talk?
Buying your first home starts with a conversation. If you’re considering a purchase in Ocean County and are looking for buyer-focused guidance, reach out in whichever way is easiest for you.
Early in our conversation, certain broker and state disclosures are reviewed and signed. These disclosures do not commit you to working with me. Buyer representation, if any, is handled separately and only if we both decide to move forward.
